A work colleague in Hong Kong showed me the versatility of the blue pencil as a way of presenting design proposals (you may check out my portfolio site: www.laurelroa.multiply.com/photos). Our decor designs were drawn using this hue, which appealed to our clients.

Stippling is an ink drawing technique where you apply tone and texture in small dots. You can adjust the depth of tone and the roughness of texture by varying the density and distribution of the dots.

Takes a lot of patience to do this technique. But it's all worth it.
